What even is life sometimes

I had a very interesting interaction the other day when Matt and I brought Two Percent to the dog park. Definitely appropriate because the Lutheran Ladies’ Lounge had just aired the episode about Thrivent t-shirt DIYs.

I was wearing (one of) my “Live Generously” t-shirts that day. As I was walking around the park petting dogs, this dude calls out to me, “Hey! Nice shirt!”

“Thanks!” I said. Assuming he understood the reference, I was about to launch into all my findings and research from the Thrivent t-shirt episode and to plug the show. LIKE A BIG NERD.

But alas, I had no time to launch as he immediately continued. “I, too, like to live generously.” It took a weird turn at that point, and with that I suspected that he did not, in fact, understand the reference.

Then the dude proceeded to pull out an ABSURDLY GIANT SPLIFF OUT OF LITERALLY NOWHERE AND TOOK A DEEP HIT.

It smelled really bad and I wanted to disappear. I almost barfed. The end.
