A Tribute to Toops McGoops (2012-2024) 🌈
On April 15, 2024, we lost Two Percent. He was just shy of 12 years old when the vet found a giant bleeding mass on Toop’s liver. It was one of those things where it escalated so quickly, but he was clearly telling us it was his time and we made the heart-wrenching decision to end his suffering.
Tooper was our first dog who was with us since just about day one after moving out of my folks’ house in 2013. He was there with us through it all, good and bad.
When I say he was The Perfect Dog, I mean it. He loved everyone and everything. A peaceful and well-behaved boy. I still feel extreme heartache and sadness, like a piece of my heart is missing.
…And then there’s frickin’ Opal. 👹
I don’t even know, man!!!
Opal is supposedly a three-year old American Bully mix from Animal Protective Association of Missouri. She likes to do a good, healthy boo-woo and nibbin’ is her love language. No one will ever get to be in our apartment at 19:00 as long as she lives; they will not survive her Demonic Witching Hourâ„¢.
Personally I think she is an earless crust-goblin sent to earth by Satan himself. AND YET WE LOVE HER ANYWAY I GUESS.
When she’s not loving, she’s hating. And when she’s not hating, she’s silently judging you.
Adopt, don’t shop! If you can. Whatever. I can’t tell you what to do. Whatever.
